Produce

This is how we both keep the lights on and keep Topsham eating their greens.

MRF uses three distinct types of aquaponics production; deepwater culture, ebb and flow, and dutch planters; all incorporated into one, semi-automated system. This allows us to grow a variety of produce as opposed to one-plant monoculture. Our system currently grows mixed greens, tomatoes, cucumbers, and two varieties of lettuce. The plants are "fed" by three tanks of Brook Trout. Our produce is grown to the highest quality and sold locally to several restaurants and markets.
